Love Heart Cupcakes to say “Thank You” to NHS Nurses ❤️

We sent lots of lovely Love Heart cupcakes to nurses at Warwick Hospital today! ????????????

We sent some cupcakes as part of a fundraiser a couple of weeks ago and after all the lovely messages and comments we got, we were compelled to send more joy!! ????

We hope they’ll help to brighten up the day for the amazing nurses working on the front line ❤️

We designed the cupcakes with Love Heart style toppers filled with messages of thanks and encouragement. You’re “Making us proud”, “You’ve got this!” and “Big hugs!”….thanks to them, one day we’ll all be able to hug again. ????

We have received lots of messages asking for cupcakes and we are doing our best to send more cupcakes to hard working NHS staff around Warwickshire, however we are currently closed so we only have 2 bakers that can help out at this time, including the legend that is Carolyn, who’s come out of retirement to help!

Thank you for your ongoing support of our small family business. It means a lot! ????

After much anticipation, our ‘famous’ cake tubs are finally available to order on our online shop for postal delivery anywhere in the UK! Now you can have our moist and delicious cake wherever you are! And our cake tubs make it easier to eat cake literally anywhere ????.

We have launched Cake Tub Mix & Match Postal Boxes which include 3 cake tubs in your choice of our most popular flavours. Cheer someone up with a treat, or help a loved one celebrate a special occasion when you can’t be close to them. Our cake tubs are perfect for one, but just enough to share between 2 if you can bear it! And if you manage not to eat it all at one, the resealable tubs can be sealed back up to keep cake fresh.

Vanilla: Classic vanilla sponge with buttercream & jam, topped with a Jammy dodger
Double Chocolate: Chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream & ganache, topped with crumbles chocolate cookie

Lockdown was hard enough the first time but now we’re into Lockdown 2.0, we need something to cheer us all up! Time goes by sooo slowly, we’ve watched everything on Netflix and there never seems to be anything good in the cupboard when you need a snack to perk you up…and lets face it snacks and sweet treats are what’s getting us through! We can worry about our waistlines later! 😉

Cheer up a friend with a lockdown treat delivered to their door! We now offer delivery of cupcakes and cake tubs and have put togther a collection of treats that are perfect for lockdown, including some special cupcakes!

These Lockdown Cupcakes will put a smile on your loved one’s face, decorated in colourful swirls of icing and sprinkles with a cute message on top. Choose from a selection of popular flavours and add a printed gift note to your order.

Of course not all of us get the luxury of being at home for lockdown, some have to carry on working, particularly key workers….they deserve a treat to tell them how amazing they are!

The Cakery says ‘Thank You’ To Key Workers With Contactless Cupcake Deliveries

A few weeks ago we announced that we were taking nominations for key workers who are doing an amazing job of keeping us safe and looked after in the community and we had so many lovely nominations from people all over Leamington Spa and Warwickshire. It has been really hard to choose between all the fantastic nominations (we wish we could answer them all!) but some stood out to us in particular. We’ve been delivering cupcakes to our chosen nominees over the past few weeks and have loved getting photos and messages of thanks from them. It’s wonderful to be able to bring some cheer to people who are putting themselves at risk for the rest of us. We can’t thank you enough!

We have also been continuing to provide sweet treats to NHS staff at Warwick Hospital with the help from The Barn Kitchen.

They’ve been on the wards all of last week and some over the weekend and now they’re cooking for me and delivering it to my bedroom. I know you’ll be inundated with requests but I thought I’d ask.
